

Community Day

The Few Fish Foundation is hosting a Community Dinner Day for the local school to share their new Aquaponics system. ​
​
Join us for free meal day with local top chefs, serving their favorite authentic dishes from around the world. As a thank you to all the hard-working community members please join us for a complimentary breakfast lunch or dinner, either sit down or drive thru.
​
​The school will be previewing their new aquaponic system that continuously generates organic veggies and fish. They will be sharing their plans to help put the excess food to good use. ​

The educational system includes:

A fully integrated aquaponics system

Operations manual with educator’s guides and student manuals

Accredited curriculum license with video lessons and digital resources​

This program seamlessly integrates STEM education with culturally enriching content focused on language, nutrition, and sustainability.

The foundation is joining with local chefs and bakers that will be using free ingredients to make 1,000 dinners for the community.

200 heads of Spinach/Lettuce

At the event the starter fish and plant sprouts will be added to the system and production started. The system harvest results are logged weekly and shown on the Foundations results page and in Foundation goal totals.
​The Foundation will be awarding a community preparedness award to the school Dean, Principal or Project Manager for demonstrating the ability to feed 1,000 people in an emergency. The Volunteers will receive awards with a special honor going the to the nominated teacher.​
